Computer aided design and manufacture meets traditional stone masonry.

Bingley Stone are proud to showcase our recent work at Salford Cathedral.  Working along with the architect we evolved working drawings to create a circular plaza with a large radial cut slabs leading to a set of inlaid steps with bespoke sized tactile pavers and a curved ramp for accessibility to the Cathedral.

The plaza extended to over 23 mtrs across and had to maintain 8mm joints throughout. Needless to say, thanks to our in house CAD dept and computer controlled cutting equipment the scheme went together effortlessly and fit like a glove.
