What to Expect: Your Order Journey
Once your order is placed, here’s a clear guide to the timeline and process from confirmation to delivery:

• Stone Allocation
  We assess stock levels of the stone type and thickness you require and secure the raw materials needed. This may involve specially quarrying stone to meet your specifications.
• Order Scheduling
  Your order is scheduled with one of our skilled masonry units, ensuring efficient production planning.
• Timeline Confirmation
  After stone allocation and scheduling, we’ll provide an estimated production completion date and keep you informed of progress.
• Production
  On the scheduled date, our masons begin crafting your order. We’ll contact you to discuss and agree on a suitable delivery date.
• Delivery Day
  On the morning of delivery, we can provide the driver’s ETA if needed, once their route is confirmed.
• Product Arrival
  Your stone is delivered kerbside (see ‘delivery info’ tab for more details). You’ll need to arrange moving the pallets to your preferred safe location.

Lead Times

At Bingley Stone, we cut all Yorkshire stone to order based on your required specifications, leading to variable lead times. Factors like our order book, production schedules, and quarrying conditions— such as stone quality, quarry extraction schedules, even weather challenges can often lead to quarry flooding, making fixed lead times challenging. Typically, we aim to complete modest sized orders within 3 to 6 weeks.
